Safe Parking and Camping
Future Goals
Sunshine Community is working to create a safe, designated space where unhoused and ALICE individuals can park or camp overnight with access to showers, bathrooms, and security.
Modeled after successful programs supported by the National Vehicle Residency Collective, this initiative offers dignity, stability, and connection for people living in vehicles or temporary conditions.
Our goal is to provide a compassionate, structured environment that bridges the gap between homelessness and housing — giving people a safe place to rest while they rebuild.
Sunshine Shelter project

Big things are happening at Sunshine Community!
Construction is underway on our Sunshine Shelter Project, a safe and welcoming space for participants in our program to call home.
The shelter will offer long-term, stable housing for those rebuilding their lives through the Sunshine Community program — a place where safety, support, and second chances come together.
We’re hoping to open by early December, and we’re gladly accepting donations toward construction and cozy living essentials to help make it feel like home.
