Housing Projects
Big things are happening at Sunshine Community!
Construction is underway on our Sunshine Shelter, a safe and welcoming space for participants in our program to call home.
The shelter will offer long-term, stable housing for those rebuilding their lives through the Sunshine Community program — a place where safety, support, and second chances come together.
We’re hoping to open by early December, and we’re gladly accepting donations toward construction and cozy living essentials to help make it feel like home.
Interim Housing
Future Project Goals
Sunshine Community is working to create a safe, structured interim housing option for unhoused individuals. This space will provide temporary stability with access to showers, bathrooms, basic amenities, and supportive staff.
Modeled after proven transitional housing models used nationwide, this program is designed to offer dignity, consistency, and connection while participants work toward long-term housing solutions.
Our goal is to create a compassionate, low-barrier environment that bridges the gap between homelessness and permanent housing — a place to rest, rebuild, and move forward.
