ABOUT
SUNSHINE COMMUNITY

Sunshine Community is a Grand Junction–based nonprofit helping unhoused and ALICE individuals rebuild stability, independence, and connection. Through our intentional, 6–12 month pilot program, participants receive housing, employment support, counseling, transportation, and peer-guided accountability. We focus on the real-world barriers—paperwork, identification, finances, and system navigation—that often prevent progress. Partnering with local agencies, we provide a compassionate, structured path toward self-sufficiency while strengthening community collaboration and awareness. At Sunshine Community, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move forward with dignity and hope.
